Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Lebanon Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, Lebanon's carpooling and ridesharing app market saw varied performance across the top platforms. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Uber - Request a ride experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at around 933 and peaking at 1.1K in early October, before declining to 787 by the end of December. Active users saw a notable decline early in the quarter, dropping from 8K to 3.1K by early November, but gradually increased to approximately 5.1K by the year's end.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a steady upward trend in downloads, starting at 673 and reaching 820 by late December. Active users followed a similar pattern, beginning with 16K and ending the quarter with a rise to 9K, after a dip in mid-quarter.

Careem – rides, food & more had a downward trend in downloads, starting at 462 and decreasing to 259 by the end of December. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 2.5K throughout the quarter.

inDrive. Save on city rides showed a consistent decrease in downloads from 360 to 313. Active users began at 15.7K and gradually declined to 10.7K, reflecting a steady decrease over the quarter.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery had a modest download range, starting at 197 and slightly decreasing to 142 by year-end. Active user numbers remained stable, averaging around 540 throughout the quarter.
